So in the wake of watching the latest Resident Evil movie, (Which was good because i refused to think of it as a Resident Evil movie, stand alone, it was decent.), i decided to start work on a zombie style effort of my own. The title of the short series work is still in the works, but i decided to fill this entry with some of the backstory that will make up the prologue.
In the early 21st century, a man by the name of Daniel Erikson, doing research at the Henderson University developed a theoretical paper for the resurrection of dead flesh to natural, working cellular structures, but without the proper funds for research, all of his theories stayed locked in documents, backed up only by scant research.
Three years after graduation, Daniel was approached about his paper by Maxwell West, interested in the field of biochemistry, and the holder of three government grants. He offered Daniel a partnership, and thus, they formed Maxwell Industries, a small pharmaceutical that went belly up a year later, but made massive advances in the field, none of which moved to their final stage of experimentation.
Max West left to pursue other projects, while Daniel, convinced that this research could change biochemistry for the better, reformed the company under the name Limestar, this time taking a different stance by appealing to the military branches.
[Hopefully more to come.]
